Public log of data refreshes, source updates, and corrections. Tax brackets refresh annually after the IRS Rev. Proc. release; everything else has the cadence listed in our editorial policy.

  1. Site scope

    Narrowed the site to income, tax, inflation and pay data. The per-state, per-income percentile pages were folded into the income percentile calculator, the 51-state ranking and the state comparison table, which cover the same Census data in one place.

    Added 2026 federal income tax brackets for all four filing statuses from IRS Rev. Proc. 2025-32.

    Calculator inputs are now kept in the URL, so a result can be bookmarked or shared as a link.

    Fixed the annualized rate showing NaN when the starting amount was 0.
